as Christians we believe that God created us to be in a special relationship with Him. But we have separated ourselves from God through our wrongdoing, and these actions have kept us from experiencing God's personal love and care for us. Fortunately, there is hope! Our relationship with God can be restored. Because of God's great love for us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sins. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we embrace the gift of faith, and in turn, experience God's love, healing and direction for our lives. as Lutherans the emphasis on the Eucharist, on Scripture, and on the distinction between God's law and Gospel are our treasures. as Cross and Resurrection Lutheran Church the gifts of God's Holy Spirit are active in our midst as described in the teaching of the Bible.
